Adaptée d'un roman anglo-saxon intitulé
a spot of bother de Mark Haddon, cette comédie dramatique remodelée par Michel Blanc n'en est pas moins typiquement française sans être franchouillarde. Les dialogues sont réellement irrésistibles, même si certaines des réparties ont été largement déflorées par la bande-annonce. Les personnages de Miou-miou et de Gilles Lelouche, interprétés avec brio, sont particulièrement bien campés. L'ambiance de la fête et de sa préparation rappelle un peu l'ambiance du film
Mariages dans lequel Miou-miou vivait aussi les affres de la préparation du mariage de sa fille chez elle dans sa maison où il fallait veiller sur des invités peu dociles.
Bien sûr les esprits chagrins regretteront le côté mode des scènes d'intimité entre gays ou le côté factice de la réception de mariage à l'américaine dans cette maison trop style magazine de déco et surtout la choix de Mélanie Doutey ( enceinte ) pour le rôle de la fille.
Mais le ton général de ces
desesperate people sonne juste, et la dernière scène très amère n'a de comédie que le genre.

Bonsoir, j'ai vu le film en avant-première en présence des acteurs principaux mais cela n'empêche pas que je n'ai pas été enthousiasmée par l'entreprise. C'est très long vers la fin. Il y a des situations de pas très bon goût. J'ai l'impression que Miou-Miou se demande ce qu'elle fait là. Dommage. Bonne soirée.
